Found hydrometer on TSM website and bought it. Item came through the mail unscathed in a few days. It measures salinity just fine. If you want more excitement then you should check out the “spices” link but if you’re as boring as me and only want a really nice hydrometer then this one works just fine for the money.
Oh, and the “sexy” part…well that was just to get you to read my review. Thank you if you did.

My Brine Tester Arrived Broken! I was disappointed because I’ve been ordering from The Sausage Maker for several years and this is the first time something like this has ever happened. One call to Customer Service and I was assured that another Brine Tester would be on its way to me! We shall see, but I have no doubts that The Sausage Maker will come through!
