Description
Dried Sausage Sticks Kit is perfect for those who enjoy Polish Smoked Stick (aka “Kabanos”). Traditionally, Kabanos is a pork sausage, but works wells with: pork, beef, wild hogs, bear, venison, duck or goose, etc. Kosher versions use chicken or turkey. If using venison, cut with pork fat.
Dried Sausage Sticks Seasoning Ingredients: salt, black pepper, white pepper, garlic, celery, onion powder, caraway, coriander, dextrose, corn syrup, milk and other spices. The seasoning has a pleasant pepper/tangy taste. Fermento can be added for a more tangy flavor.

Sorry this recipe didn’t work out for your taste Kevin, the recipe is basically a Polish Smoked Stick (aka “Kabanos”), those Poles love their Caraway! Sausage or sauerkraut, it will often have Caraway. It is a distinct flavor and not for everyone.. so we will make the product description clear about the Caraway presence. I hope you were able to gift the 5 lbs. and rest of the Kit. 19 mm casings work well and a 15 lb venison/ 10 lb pork recipe works great.
