    Not as sturdy as the larger one. It’s ok and serves a good purpose. I wish they could make the compact one as well as the larger one.

    Good size to stick right under the grinder nozzle. Not too tall. It’s a little light-weight / flimsy so it wouldn’t stand up to much commercial use. Occasional home use is fine.

    It will work. Doesn’t hold as much meat as I thought it might. Thirty pounds with the lid still fitting would be a full Lug.

    I bought this lug to mix small batches of sausage (up to 15 pounds) with the lid because I wanted the option of having a lid to make certain types of sausages. I liked that it would fit in the refrigerator. I couldn’t give it an excellent review because the lid sits on the top of the lug fine…but it doesn’t actually fasten to the lug in any way. Otherwise this product does everything I expected it to do.
