Our Country Style Pork Sausage Seasoning 1lb 4oz is a great blend to try and have on hand for any occasion. For that extra special country taste, try this seasoning and be surprised like we were how well it complements pork.

Ingredients: salt, dextrose, spice, monosodium glutamate, citric acid (0.39%), BHT (0.39%), natural spice extractive.

Because the sausage seasoning comes pre-blended, it saves you time and effort of mixing the ingredients themselves. No additional salt needed. Store in cool dry space.

10 lbs. Recipe

  • 10 Lb. Boneless Pork Butt
  • 1 Pint of Ice Water
  • 4 oz. Country Style Pork Seasoning

Grind all the meat through a 3/16″ grinder plate and place in mixer. Add all the ingredients and mix well until all the spices are evenly distributed. Pork sausage may be stuffed into 32-35mm hog casings or 22-24mm sheep casing.

    Maybe it’s a little high in MSG, but that’s subjective. One small issue is the amount of seasoning to use per 10 Lbs of meat. The jar says to use 4 ounces, but it doesn’t specify where those are dry measure ounces or 4 ounces by weight. I called the company and together we did some math. It turns out to be 4 ounces by weight, so you better have a scale handy that can measure 4 ounces by weight. A simple update to the instructions would clarify that. Had I not called the company, I would have messed up my sausage because I was about to use the traditional dry measure method as I am accustomed to.

    This seasoning allows a meaty forward taste to the sausage. I was expecting something other than what it has, but I do like it. I might try this style of sausage in other places where my breakfast sausage doesn’t seem to be the best choice. Pizza, maybe?

    Look a word to the wise is sufficient.. This sausage seasoning is delicious. Now being a Chef of some years now I can tell you. you will enjoy this. But being me I added a little more spice to it like a little onion and garlic powder not the salt!!!! Some poultry seasoning too!!! My own concoction of course, but that’s just me.
