- Use one level teaspoon Insta Cure 1 per 5 lbs. of ground meat
- One pound of Insta Cure pink curing salt #1 will process approximately 480 pounds of meat
For a basic bacon or ham brine (not including additional flavor ingredients), mix:
- 1 gal. water
- 4 oz. (½ cup) Insta Cure #1 pink curing salt
- 1 lb. 5 oz. (1¾ cup) salt
- 1 ½ oz. (2¼ Tbsp.) sugar

Have not had a chance to use product, but am fully aware of what it is….I was treated most graciously by your customer service department when I discovered that I ordered Insta Cure #1 instead of #2…they jumped on the order and changed it out with no questions asked! That says it all for me! It seems nowadays NO ONE cares about their customers unless their credit card fails to go through…not you! Will continue to use you for all my sausage making needs!!!!

Product as expected. Only issue is it comes in a plastic bag and I never use a whole pound of Cure #1 atone time so I have to hunt up a container to store the remainder. and a label. Would be nice if it came in a bottle or other reuseable container.
