The Sausage Maker’s own Mild Italian Sausage Seasoning 1lb 8oz is a tasty blend of spices that make an authentical, delicious Italian Sausage.
Our Mild Italian Sausage Seasoning is a mixture of salt, paprika, fennel, pepper, and other spices. Customers also use the seasoning in meatloaf, red sauces, roasted vegetables, dry rubs, and marinades.
The seasoning is mixed without the chemical use of silicone dioxide, an anti-caking agent. If the seasoning cakes up, it is not spoiled. Simply shake the container or crush with your hand to loosen.
The Mild Italian Sausage Seasoning is The Sausage Maker’s proprietary recipe and is made in our facility in Buffalo, New York.

Because Mild Italian Sausage Seasoning comes pre-blended, it saves you the time and effort of mixing the ingredients themselves. No additional salt is needed. Store in a cool dry space.

10 lbs. Recipe
- 10 lbs. boneless pork butts or 7 lbs. Venison & 3 lbs. fatty pork butt
- 1 pint ice water
- 4.5 oz. Mild Italian Sausage Seasoning
Grind all meat through a 3/16″ grinder plate. The venison is ground through a 1/4″ or 3/8″ grinder plate. Combine seasoning with water and mix thoroughly into the meat until evenly distributed. Stuff into a 32-35 mm hog casings or a 32 mm fresh collagen casing.
Allergens: Soybean oil is used as a mixing aid.
*Casing capacity depends on meat/fill density, size/lengths of links or loops, and how tightly casings are being filled.

Purchased this about a month ago. I used it today to make the sausage. Tasting the seasoning right out of the container was as I expected; however, after mixing with the pork it was very mild, with nearly no heat.
Also, I had to add some extra fennel as I could not task, and could only taste the salt.
So I ground some fennel and mixed it in. The results was much better.

My order arrived sooner than expected , thanks. The quality of the products are always to notch. The mild hot Italian sausage spice mix has a phenomenal flavor , adjusting the spice mix down , makes a great mild sausage, which the kids like. I kick it up a little, for a spicier sausage but not too hot . The sausage casings are clean and very easy to work with, on the grill , the casings hold up and produce a great sausage. I have used the Sausage Maker products for over 30 yrs, you canât find any better and the customer service is over the top.
