    Unfortunately it took Sausagemaker three tries with shipping to get it right. First, they shipped me one item out of 8 on the order, and that shipment took over 2.5 weeks to arrive. Next, after I called to let the. Know they made a mistake, they shipped, overnight, all but one item from the rest of my order. Finally, after having to call them again, they shipped my last item 2-day shipping. Three weeks to get my order, and with all of the inconvenience they caused, one would think they would send me some sort of apology gift, but I got nothing but a disgruntled customer service rep to deal with.

    I have been making sausage for about 10 years now and this is the first time I have used the soy protein concentrate. I am very pleased with the outcome of my sausage with it staying juicey and minimal shrinkage. But had to adjust my recipe because of the amount of water I had to add so that I could use the stuffer. 3 cups of SPC to 25 lbs of meat made a giant doughball. Lol. But was good.

    I like using this better than NFDM. I like being able to say that there is no dairy in our sausage. I have not shopped around so I can’t comment on whether or not the price is good, but I love the service that SausageMaker provides. I am not motivated to look.
