Description
Sweet Italian Sausage Seasoning 5oz has a fresh, sweet, earthy, spicy, anise-like aroma. It contains black pepper, cracked fennel seed, salt, sugar, and spices. Not only can the seasoning be used in pork sausage, but it can also be used as a dry rub or to season red sauces.
The seasoning is mixed without the chemical use of silicone dioxide, an anticaking agent. If the seasoning cakes up, it is not spoiled. Shake the container or crush it with your hand to loosen it.

Because the sausage seasoning comes pre-blended, it saves you the time and effort of mixing the ingredients themselves. No additional salt is needed. Store in a cool dry space.

10 lbs. Recipe
- 10 lbs. boneless pork butts or 7 lbs. Venison & 3 lbs. fatty pork butt
- 1 pint ice water
- 4.5 oz. Sweet Italian Sausage Seasoning
Grind all the meat through a 3/8″ grinder plate and mix all the ingredients into the meat until all the spices are evenly distributed. Sweet Italian Sausage may be stuffed into 32 -35 mm hog casings or 32 mm fresh collagen casings.
Allergens: Soybean oil is used as a mixing aid.
*Casing capacity depends on meat/fill density, size/lengths of links or loops, and how tightly casings are being filled.

Made 10 lbs of using the 5oz packet. The front of the packet says it makes 10lbs and the back shows to use 3oz. I did some math and 5oz is the correct amount. I mixed this into the ground pork I had and let it sit for 36 hrs. I don’t know if I got the bottom of the barrel or what, but this was not an italian sausage. To me it tasted more like a bratwurst. Disappointed.
