Description
Our Zesty Italian Sausage Seasoning is a twist on traditional Italian sausage. It’s great on the grill, perfect for your back yard BBQ, and enjoyed best with a Pale Ale.
Ingredients: salt, spices (including fennel and pepper), sugar, paprika, dextrose, garlic powder, spice extractives and less than 2% soybean oil and silicon dioxide added as a flow conditioner.

Because the Zesty Italian Sausage Seasoning 1lb 8oz comes pre-blended, it saves you time and effort of mixing the ingredients themselves. No additional salt needed. Store in cool dry space.
- Net weight: 16 oz. (1 Lb.)
- Yield: approx. 50 lbs.*
10 lbs. Recipe
- 10 lbs. deboned pork shoulder or 7 lbs. venison and 3 lbs. pork trimmings.
- 1 pint of ice water
- 3 oz. Zesty Italian seasoning
Grind meat through a 3/8″ grinder plate and mix all the ingredients until evenly distributed. Stuff into 32 – 35 mm hog casings.
Allergens: Soybean oil used as a mixing aid.
*Casing capacity depends on meat/fill density, size/lengths of links or loops and how tightly casings being filled.

I add a little of this with italian seasoning when I make my venison sausage and it comes out excellent flavor.

I bought a bunch of SausageMaker products as I’m spooling up and learning to Smoke and BBQ. So far, everything is scrumptious and as advertised. The 3,2,1 method produces great food in both the grill and the electric smoker. Now I need to get aboard some of the forums and learn the nitty gritty details.

This blend is not to zesty. I guess I expected a little kick with the title of zesty, used on wild hog. Will try on deer next batch.
